Overview

Individual users and departments should complete this form for assistance with the VPN or to request a vendor/non-employee, department-sponsored VPN account.

ECU’s virtual private network (VPN) is an encrypted, virtual tunnel between off-campus devices and on-campus information. Connecting to ECU through a VPN prevents data theft between the server and your off-campus device.

Through a VPN connection, you access resources such as a department Piratedrive folder or other non-public resource when off campus. Note that you can only connect to ECU resources for which you already have access.
